Who am I?
My name is Adamie, I grew up in a small community in the James Bay area called Chisasibi. I’m not much of a people person; I would much rather stay home and watch a show, play video games or play music.
I love horror movies/shows, I play a lot of shooters and horror games, and I got into heavy music when I was a kid, and I find it to be a huge part of my life to this day. Lastly, I’m also a huge dog person; I have a giant lab/husky mix named Koko who turned 7 this past June who you can see on the contact page of this site.
I moved to the city in 2022 for school after taking a gap year to work before going to college. Since moving, I realized quickly that I would need a lot of time to adjust to the city because nothing is familiar to me here.
And that’s why I made this blog, to document my journey into coming from Chisasibi and learning how to live on my own in an unfamiliar place.
